  This game almost entirely demonstrates why Seattle went with Mike Macdonald as their next head coach. The goal was to provide answers to the offensive powerhouses which have been a thorn in Seattle&apos;s side for multiple seasons now. <br><br>He has been the greatest coach that we could have ever asked for following Pete Carroll, because he plans to maintain our stifling defensive identity, just in a different way with modern wrinkles and unique way of teaching defense. He is one of one, and I firmly believe that none of his disciples will execute his style of defense better than him. Lead us Coach Mike. 💚💙

  Bryon Murphy&apos;s college coach taught him that kneel &amp; rip technique and had him practice it every day. Most players can&apos;t do it fast enough for it to work the NFL, but Murph is a special dude. His ability to beat double teams with that move makes him an unsung hero on this D.

  9ers fan here the Seahawks defense simply whooped our asses. Kyle got outcoached and out schemed that Seahawks defense is legit and a Super Bowl defense.

  You guys built an incredible roster. And have a host of great coaches behind them. Shanahan and the Niners might’ve been hurt but honestly it’s no excuse. Back in week one I kept saying the Niners got lucky and all of my friends and family thought I was crazy. The ultimate thing was seeing them and the team get humbled at the tune of 41-6. We might comeback next year and compete. Maybe we’ll compete a few more years. But the division is silently but rapidly moving in the direction of Seattle. Neither the Rams nor the Niners have an answer. You guys get to prove it this Sunday. And honestly I hope you guys beat LA’s asses. Do it. It’s your turn to win.

  The key to the defense is Nick Enmonwori … he’s an extra linebacker masking as a DB … he’s fast and big and can make tackles. That’s why they don’t have to load the box

  Seriously, this is some of the best football strategy breakdown online. Appreciate the explanations and rhythm. Perfect balance of commentary and rolling the actual film. Others spend too much time talking their head off with no real substance.

  I think coaches come along every few years that are a step ahead. For a while, that was Shanny/McVey. Now McDonald has come along and given the advantage back to the defense. Key for these coaches to win when they have the hot hand because the teeter always totters. Hoping for a closer match this time.
