  Side notes about the Halifax explosion: so many people were blinded by shattered glass that it led to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind being formed in 1918. Also, NS sends a Xmas tree to Boston every year as thanks for its help after the explosion.

  As a Haligonian (and curator of the Maritime Museum&apos;s Titanic exhibit) thank you for such a good and pretty accurate introduction to our city, and wow, you sure crammed a lot into your one day! You must have been blazing the sidewalks to do the Public Gardens, the Citadel, Pier 21, the Maritime Museum, a ferry ride and the Titanic graves plus assorted restaurants in a single day! You may have been amused to see that we also have statues to Robert Burns and Walter Scott near the Public Gardens. Sorry about the airport bus ride - they usually have a a bus with a luggage rack but it must have been unavailable that day.

  As a Canadian I really don&apos;t like to hear that you had bad service from someone, that&apos;s terrible. Most Canadians are very patient and helpful. Loving your videos in the Maritimes!

  Phenomenal job on Halifax! and I’m a local. <br>My Grandmother was about 80 kms away from the explosion on the harbour and they were able to feel it through the ground that far away .way back in 1917 .

  Did not realize that Halifax has such an interesting past &nbsp;with so many tragedies, yet it was such beacon of hope for the immigrants who landed. The datapoints and factoid’s you share is what makes your content leagues above any one else, don’t think any other ‘YouTuber’ &nbsp;researches the history of every locations that they visit as well as you do.   I love how you cross-referenced the child&apos;s headstone in the Titanic section of the cemetery with the display of his shoes in the immigration museum--so touching.

  Thanks for this very pleasant tour. It has been 50 years since I last was in Halifax,so no surprise that that waterfront has changed so much.
