  Canada here. &nbsp;My grandfather was born in Chester Basin, Nova Scotia (3 miles outside of Chester on the south shore). &nbsp;He was from a large family, son of the village blacksmith. &nbsp;I spent 2 weeks visiting Nova Scotia and it is indeed beautiful in the summer. &nbsp;But beware the hard winters -- lots of snow, lots of storms, and power outages galore. &nbsp;My favorite part of the province is Cape Breton -- no photography does those highlands justice!

  Hi loved the video. We came to NS from the UK 17 yrs ago and loved every day . Even the winters which can be brutal.

  I am a Scot who emigrated to Canada 56 yrs ago . I live in Toronto Ontario. &nbsp;I have travelled &nbsp;all over this country east to west , north to south. We camped all over. My favourite parts of the country are Nova Scotia and PEI. &nbsp;Drove there one weekend just for the lobster.<br>So welcome a fellow Scot to this beautiful country, &nbsp;its&apos; lovely people and cultures from all over &nbsp;this world.

  My best road trip for 3 weeks was from Pennsylvania up to Maine to a car ferry to Nova Scotia, road around the island and up through Cape Breton, then another car ferry to Newfoundland, drive around, then a ferry to the French island St Pierre and Michelon, then back in the ferry to Nova Scotia and a drive over the bridge to Prince Edward island. We stayed at campgrounds, bed and breakfasts, and a hostel in St John&apos;s, Newfoundland. We had the best time!
