  Anyone who has purchased a home that is in need of new or revised landscaping needs to watch this video.  There is a wealth of valuable information here that will save them money and countless headaches in the future.  Don't feel bad that you want to grow Plumeria in zone 8a, Dr.  I live in 6a, but lived in SE Florida zone 9 for many years and dearly miss the huge Plumeria I grew to maturity from a tiny piece of branch.  I tried bringing a piece back from a vacation there to grow it here, but the constant moving it in and out, protecting it in the garage from our very cold winters made me give up, and just concentrate on what grows well here and keep my focus on planting for the pollinators first - in ground and in hanging baskets.  I really enjoy all of your videos - thanks for sharing.

  I’ve learned many of these things the hard way. Just this spring we had to extend our front flowerbeds by four feet along the front of the house because the shrubs I placed according to the tag width of three feet have already reached over four feet within three years. We have to move them out this fall. It’s going to be a job! I always appreciate your common sense approach and have learned  so much from your videos.
