My husband and I built our garden wishing well water feature..many have wanted one like it..I did most of the landscaping myself...Keep it simple, without fountains and statuary everywhere. Make seating mobile..make it beautiful and natural.

His prices are not accurate. We put our firepit in for $300 not $2000. We love it. We move the chairs around it depending on where the wind is blowing.

We have an amazing water feature in our Ponderosa Pine 1/2 acre back yard. It’s beautiful and peaceful. Never have had algae. Guests love it. We also have a hot tub which we still use:)<br>Gas Fire pit on deck with view of the Rocky Mountains. All of these features give our home the feel of an upscale hotel.<br>My point…….We have things you mentioned not to have and love them. ❤

I have a small yard elevated. Prior owner put a circle concrete pad there. It cracked thus a tripping hazard. I had it removed, covered with volcanic pebbles like the rest of the yard. <br><br>However volcanic pebbles are hard to utilize the yard. I wanted a platform but not composite deck material (very hot in summer). I asked my gardener to build a 6x6 chair height Korean pyeongsang using redwood. I added a cantilever patio umbrella for shades. I love how easy it is to sit on this platform. It’s perfect for yoga and meditation.
