  Amazing video! Really like all the editing, but wanted to touch on a couple of things. <br>For the purpose of this video it probably doesn’t make sense to get too much into the weeds on your end, but I think I should point out a thing or two<br>1. The bonus depreciation: I believe it should be much less as I would think that most of the cost of the property is tied to permanent fixtures such as the containers, foundation, etc. &nbsp;the only thing you can do bonus deprecation would be the appliances, deck, and a couple other items done within a cost seg. &nbsp;I would think you could only get about 50k in depreciation so about a third claimed. (If because it is a container home that it is all allowed that would be super cool and would love to know) <br>2. Land: I wish you included land as an expense as that was probably a good amount of money saved in your project. It seems like you already owned the property, but I think it would be good for your viewers to know the cost for their own projects.<br>Don’t want to come off as a hater, because the video was very enjoyable to watch!

  Hey!! Thanks for the comment and watching the video.<br><br>The containers only cost me about $5k, so they weren’t a massive amount of the cost. &nbsp;But you’re right about the bonus depreciation applying to anything under a 20 year amortization schedule. &nbsp;Most of what I put into the container home fell under that category - roof, framing, doors, floors, decks, etc.<br><br>Yes, you’re correct. I did already own the land and had built on it already. But good point, I should have pointed that out more clearly. &nbsp;<br><br>Cheers :)
