  Pickpocket and Lockpicking could be merged into a single skill called Thieving and freed up a space for a new skill like Athletics that could give us more mobility options beyond just holding down W and occasionally tapping the space bar

  One of the best (although niche) features of pickpocket is that you can instakill briarheart warriors by sneaking up behind them and just stealing their briarheart lol

  Biggest problem is that time freezes when you lockpick. If it didn’t, it would incentivize opening locks faster and more quietly. Thief characters would either have to save scum ALL THE TIME, or they would have to invest in the skill so that they get caught less frequently.

  Pickpocket would feel so much more worth it if you could at least get to 100%, even if it was just for more low end items. Always being 90% just kills it for me

  Illusion actually becomes shockingly reliable for most combat encounters if you invest heavily in it. &nbsp;One of my favorite builds was the &apos;calm stabber&apos;, I would use Feim to disappear and cast the master calm spell, sneak and stab someone, if they survive that just calm them again and sneak and stab. &nbsp;You just keep calming and shivving people and it even works on undead/daedra/automatons if you get the perk

  They got rid of mysticism from Oblivion, is now perks in conjuring and alteration skill. Pickpocket could be a perk tree in sneak.
