Do let me know if I've missed anything that can push the damage even higher and apologies for the lower quality of the voiceover on this video. I'm having issues my end I can't easily fix and the YouTube upload seems to amplify this further. Might need to look into a different setup but should be resolved in the future. But that's all from me for now...

EDIT: Testing for other damage buffs

Necromage: Gives +25% for the crafting loop exploit. Weirdly gives an incosistent buff to magic damage against the undead (+34% when it should be +25%). IMPORTANT. You could use this and bloodworm helm and bone wolf while not being a vampire purely for their damage buff to undead. I chose not to because they can also be used in the necromage vampire crafting exploit. However only bloodworm helm buffs physical damage, necromage and bone wolf only effect magic damage. They do multiply each other though. So you would deal more damage overall, not by an enormous amount but definitely more.

Bloodworm Helm: Gives +25% melee and magic damage to undead, stacks with necromage for the crafting loop exploit. Stacks with necromage and bone wolf when attacking an undead target.

Bone Wolf: Does not stack with bloodworm helm and necromage vampire for the crafting loop exploit. Only gives increased magic damage to undead like the necromage perk. Has an inconsistent bonus typically around 31%.

The 32-Bit Integer Limit: Technically the highest damage you could deal if I'm not mistaken is 2,147,483,647 and would only be achievable with the fortify restoration exploit.

Demented Elytra Nymph Buff [NO EXTRA BENEFIT]: This gives +10 to One-Handed, Two-Handed & Archery but despite showing 110 in the skill menu, the damage does not increase. It only works when the skill is already below 100. I think damage scaling stops at 100 for all weapon skills similar to Oblivion.

Notched Pickaxe: [NO EXTRA BENEFIT]: The enchantment has been bugged since release and is supposed to give +5 to your Smithing skill but does not. It instead heals damage to your smithing skill by 5 points which is irrelevant as this can't happen in game anyway [I'm pretty sure?]

Dawnguard Rune Axe: The enchantment caps at 100 damage after killing 100 undead and does not scale with sneak or power attacks. Our custom chaos and fire/frost/shock enchantments do way over 100 damage so this is of no use.

Silver Weapons: These do 20 extra damage to werewolves and undead which is not multiplied by power attacks but is multiplied by sneak attacks. The extra damage also scales with fortify one-handed gear and potions and the Armsman/Barbarian perks. They can be enchanted as well. However, they CAN NOT BE IMPROVED and have low base damage [Silver Sword = 8, Madness Mace = 18] so end up with 1462 damage [8772 with the hidden +20 when dual wielding] vs 21,244 with the Madness Maces

Dunmer Boots/Captain's Boots: This is a 5th item that can be enchanted with fortify smithing. Which will increase the smithed damage of the madness mace from 349 to 397 and increase the final damage to 3,787,094 [ a 1.14x damage increase]. However, these items are not supposed to have chest enchantments apply to them and the wiki lists this as a bug. So debatable whether they are glitched/exploit?

Sweep Perk for Two-Handed: This perk hits lets two-handed weapons hit every enemy in front of them. It can not be performed when sneaking so you lose a 2x multiplier. However, you can hit 4 enemies at once [maybe more depending on enemy size/position?] So would be a damage increase overall but not enough to compete with the maces.

Be Seeing You.

Once, I was trying to one-shot the Ebony Warrior. After doing some calculations afterward, I learned I did ~1725 damage. Unfortunately, I didn't know about the reflect blows perk, so I did all that damage to myself.

3 million damage is enough to turn someone into mist on the spot including everything they were wearing and it would probably create a blinding flash of light

Okay, so from the gathered evidence I can only assume the Madness maces are made of fissile materials, and you're triggering a nuke with every hit.

really good stuff, glad you left out the resto loop as it becomes the equivalent of taking a helicopter to the top of a mountain and saying you climbed it. having spent lots of time on legendary difficulty with both legit and glitched characters, I have to say the sweet spot in terms of damage has to be 500-1000 damage for one handed weapons and bows (enchantments included) and 1000-2500 damage for two handers. killing everything in one hit is fun for a bit but it definitely get's old quick, I prefer the enemies at least get a chance to swing at me
