You end up with a grand total of $8,950. to bring a replica to below basic level Rolex specs without the quality machined parts and warranty. The replica price point is actually a confirmation of the retail rolex price point of $16,900 USD. $8,950. gets you the Best "franken" available but an additional $7,950. gets you the "brand promise" of authenticity, proprietary machined parts assembled by Rolex trained watchmakers, increasing resale value and a lifetime warranty. The "true" price of a modern Rolex is probably around $8000-$9000 USD.
