Hey Larry -- we're all learning together. In this case, you asked for help, and we all got to benefit from it. Best of luck as you continue working on watches.

And as always, thanks, Marshall! Great video.

What an age we live in to have access to content like this, for free. 50 years ago you watched what they fed you.

That laugh while saying "this time on the bench" said everything that needed to be said. We all knew what was going down.

To dismantle a timepiece, then reassemble, is a huge skill. However, to reassemble a random bag of bits into a beautiful fully functioning watch is nothing short of witchcraft! What a wonderful engaging video - well done Marshal...

Given a couple of the hidden issues with this your viewer, Larry, would have been very frustrated that it didn't work when completely assembled. The two gotchas would have been difficult to impossible to fix without specialist tools. Tools beyond a basic kit. Thank you for sharing this build.

You know you have a considerable grasp of the trade when you can put something back together from a pile of pieces you didn't make.

This is single-handedly the best video on YouTube I’ve ever seen when it comes to reverse engineering. Incredible work Marshall.

Marshall, you should feel very gratified and proud by assembling a technically challenging watch that is not your preferred model. Thank you for persevering for us!

At least the owner recognized he was in over his head and sought assistance. Well done.
PS — my only comment is that I videotape a lot of things I do just in case I missed something

Congratulations Marshall on reaching the one million mark! I cannot think of any other YouTuber who deserves this accomplishment more than you do. As far as this particular mind-boggling and mind-numbing video is concerned, all I can say is thank you so much for allowing me to escape for 49 minutes from everything else I do. This was an exhausting experience for not only you but for at least some of us also. Amazing.
