Thanks for the work on my Grandfathers watch, Alec. Great to have it working after so many years and with a story to pass on. It's in pride of place next to his WW1 medals. Many thanks.

My grandfather was a Sergeant in the Army Vetetinary Corps during WW1 and served in France and Belgium, so this story resonates with me. I have some of his papers from the time, including a notebook with recipes for various horse treatments and his diary for 1918.

Yet another tip-top presentation of your quality work. May I say your additional mirthful comments are highly amusing! Particularly the orbiting watch parts one! Good show 😊

In my imagination, you throw the absolute best dinner parties. Also, I ruined a dial with just plain water and a cotton swab that had a slight golden hue I hadn't noticed until I ruined it. It sits in my drawer of regret. Trying to clean a dial is the worst.

My wife has tagged along on my horologic journey. You're more successful than I extracting chuckles from her with your periodic humorous musings. Thank you for that. I enjoy them as well. Love the songs as well.
