We test its real-world performance, backup capability, charging speeds, and overall value to see if this dual E3800 setup is one of the best budget-friendly 240V home backup power systems you can buy right now. With two 3,840Wh LiFePO4 batteries, a combined 7,680Wh of capacity, high-output inverter power, massive solar input potential, and the ability to run both 120V and 240V loads through the Pecron 240V Hub, this bundle delivers serious emergency backup, off-grid, RV, and whole-home power potential at a highly competitive price. We cover what we love, where the system makes the most sense, what the 240V Hub actually unlocks, and what limitations you need to know before buying—especially if you’re trying to power larger appliances, connect to a transfer switch, or build a more affordable alternative to systems from EcoFlow, Anker SOLIX, Bluetti, and other home battery brands. The no charging while putting out, is the deal killer for me

I love Pecron's approach to their models. I like the modularity of the E3600/3800 for 240V, but myself prefer the single-unit approach of the F5000LFP, which is why I bought it. They're catering to both types of consumers.

I thought for sure your big issue was going to be the lack of flashlight on these units. Shocked.

Here's a suggestion. Have one of "your people" there answer some of the comments that you get. Practically EVERY other YouTube channel that's similar to yours, they will reply some. That would be huge for credibility.

I bought this system with 6 expansion batteries to charge my Tesla at the track. The only disappointment was that even though the hub is rated at 30A I can only charge at 20A before the system trips and you have to manually reset as described in the video. I wish I could get closer to 25A because when charging a car at the track you want to be charging as fast as possible. But set to 20A from the Tesla app it will charge until the batteries drain. The solar works surprisingly well. We have 4, 300W panels from Pecron and we are able to around 550W of power into each unit while charging the car.

I have this exact same setup, powering my AC unit its running while I'm watching this video. I can tell you hands down after owning several different systems. This is my favorite system of all time.

We bought the dual 3600s for the flexibility and the cost. We knew about the AC charging limitation, and the plan is to feed a chargeverter into the open end of the chain of extra batteries.
You can also use the open port on the 3800s to sync the two batteries while in 240 mode.
It's definitely messy, and part of me regrets not throwing an extra thousand into an EG4 system, but so far the flexibility has been nice.

Nice video, I have the E3600 setup already, otherwise I’d buy this in a minute.
I also have the F5000, which allows A/C charging at 120 while still outputting 240.
