I bought the F3000 and expansion battery. Had an electrician interface it with my main panel and generator panel transfer switch. Happy with it.

I definitely feel people need 2 units. I prefer the 3k watt & 5k watt units.

Again, really appreciate your expertise on these things. I bought the F3000 and in fact the Powersmart 3800 generator after watching your ‘day 2’ outage video when you reviewed those. Also bought the Gooloo tire inflator after you reviewed it!🤷🏻♂️

So please…don’t review any Toyotas or timeshares or anything else I have no business buying. 😬

You mentioned powering your whole house…do you have a video showing the power panel tie-in? Great videos!

For less than one F5000LFP, you could buy two F3000 and one F1000 or other combo. Having more than one unit is better than one big one if you are not connected to house wiring IMO. As several have stated, more than one is almost mandatory. Put units #2 and 3# in whatever room it is needed to power TV, fans, small lights, recharge devices. Largest unit (most power) runs large/power hungry devices appliances, and refrigerators. And the duel/tri fuel generator you bought (right?) is setup and ready to start recharging your batteries on those cloudy days and at night. Make sure you use 14awg extension cords and keep the length as small as feasible. Can cause tripping hazards in the dark, be careful. I rarely see generators mentioned when talking about which units to buy. A generator should be the first or at least the very next purchase after the battery. I use propane even though it is less energy dense. Stores forever and the generator carburetor cannot get clogged up. Buying all that battery is great and will last a day, two, or three, but must be recharged. Power outages are most often caused by weather, and that weather hides the sun! Most people do not have the solar panels needed to recharge 5000W battery in a single day. I have no add-on batteries for any unit. I will piggyback them via AC one to another if needed. Less efficient but each unit is independent of any other and can be charged separately.

Happy with my F3000 Lfp. Tested it one day. It ran for 25 hours connected to my 26 cu ft refrigerator. regular open and close. Used it for power outage for 9 hours. Limited open, close. Run microwave some times. It still had 73% power left.

Just learned from other YouTube not to use your power station pass through unless the generator is an inverter type.
Dirty power goes through the station right to your electronics.
Charge it first before using of not using an inverter generator.
