  First off: great video.  Really excellent presentation.  I do think this is a candidate for a top power station that can simultaneously charge from 120 VAC while outputting a highly respectable 7200 W from the 240 V split phase L14-30 receptacle.  My desired use case is backup power during grid outages - but I would like to use my EV’s 1500 Watt AC outlet as essentially a backup power source for the Pecron power station.  Like many homes that have used backup gas generators, I have a transfer switch on my electrical panel with the ability to bring 240 V power from a gas generator.  My goal is to switch from the L14-30 outlet from my gasoline generator to the L14-30 outlet on the Pecron to feed my transfer switch during power outages.  Since I only use an average of about 1 to 1.5 kW of power during power outages, using the Pecron unit alone would only allow me to have backup power for about 3 or 4 hours.  But if I use my EV’s V2L capability to feed 1500 watts (120 VAC) from my EV to the Pecron - while simultaneously feeding 240 volt power from the Pecron to my transfer switch protected electrical panel, I can run backup power for about couple of DAYS using my EV’s high voltage battery.  I would love to see this use case tested.  I would particularly love to know if it would require a ground-neutral bond in order to work properly.  Is this a test you can run with your EV?  It looks like you might have a Volvo or Polestar in this video.  I’m not sure if you can output 120 VAC directly from a car output port on your EV - but if you can, I’d love to see it.

  I ordered mine a few weeks ago. I already have a 4.55kW DIY ground mount array connected to a Jackery 5000 plus. When I saw this Pecron deal, I jumped on it quick and ordered one, along with an extra battery. I can't wait to get my hands on it. Glad your testing shows it's the real deal.

  This unit is a strong contender for my home power back up for a variety of reasons.<br><br>1. &nbsp;Portable: &nbsp;my mom&apos;s house has lost power a few times for more than a few hours... this would be perfect for hooking up her refirgerator/freezer instead of me hauling my gas generator over.<br>2. &nbsp;I have a 50A input via panel interlock... I get power outages on a somewhat regular basis, usually flickers due to high winds before cutting out. &nbsp; I&apos;ll just plug this unit in when power is unstable and run house from it.<br> If outage goes more than 1/2-1day, I got a small gas generator that is capable of running my entire house (minus AC/dryer/oven).. so it&apos;ll be able to charge Pecron and power my house for days!<br><br>Minor negative on this Pecron.<br>1. &nbsp;only 120v input. &nbsp; For me that&apos;s not a problem, but would be nice if it could be 240v or take 120/240.<br>2. &nbsp;Input limited to proprietary cable. &nbsp;Would be nice if it also had a L5-30R on generator also. &nbsp;this would allow 32000w input.<br>3. &nbsp;app has fewer features than the unit. &nbsp;Sure, I get why this might be, but they&apos;re the company, the unit specific options shuold be available within app.<br><br>My $002!

  That&apos;s so cool... seeing you charging EV with this unit. I just got the smaller F1000 model just to play with... eventually would love to get a bigger unit that can charge my EV using solar, so with my driving habit, I just need to get 30kWh battery storage and solar to fill that up maybe once or twice a week...
