Having a pension is great, but I still believe investing consistently can help build more financial flexibility over time. The more capital you invest, the greater the potential gains, but risk management matters too. John Michael Holleran is the best crypto mentor I’ve ever met. He helped me understand how the market works, manage risk, and make more informed decisions.

My wife and I are both retired military with COLA adjusted pensions for life. BEYOND blessed and grateful!

One thing that I liked about having a pension was staying in a lower tax bracket when I was working. If I was paid more, but had no pension, more is $ is taxed your whole career and you need to fund your account(s).<br>My pension doesn&apos;t have a COLA, but there is low cost insurance that is carrying me from 55 to 65.

Having seen my company pension restructured while I was there made me confident in my decision to invest as though it would not be there. I also assumed Social Security would be reduced and invested accordingly. Nothing is guaranteed and I would rather have the problem of too much money in retirement rather than too little.

I have a pension, and I still save and invest over 50%, because I really hate work, and want it to end as soon as possible.

41 years old and have 100% P and T VA disability and SSDI. Not sure if I&apos;ll be around in 30 years due to illnesses but planning to be so still investing. If you have your health, and your loved ones have theirs, &nbsp;be thankful to God.

Great breakdown — most people seriously undervalue their pension because it&apos;s not a number they can see. The $25-per-$1-of-income framing makes it click. Thanks for the clarity.

Senior military officer retirement pension. I am very blessed. 45 years old. Freedom to do with your life what you want to do without having to be at a job is the most unbelievable blessing.

I had a very small pension that was liquidated. &nbsp;I rolled it into my IRA and have been making more than they were over the last couple of years!

I will have probably 4 income streams with COLAs, God willing I have to health to enjoy it after a couple decades in the military. God bless and save for your family if possible.
