Former Miniwargamer Vito here. Been following this for the last little bit and just wanted to say that its sad things had transpired the way they did. I remember being in love with MWG and it was a dream come true being able to not only help design and create the bunker but also be apart of the MWG team. There have been a lot of opinions being thrown about the last few weeks, and while I reserve the right to keep them to myself, I wanted to say that I hope MWG finds its feet again, innovates, and continues to be a pillar in the hobby space.

On a personal level, Dave. I miss hanging out with you outside of MWG as friends. I miss playing dnd with Matt and his family. I wish you both the best and eager to see what the next chapter of MWG has instore. All the best!

The 3 universal rules of project management are:
-It will take 3 times longer than you planned,
-It will cost 3 times as much as you planned,
-and you are NOT the exception.

Hey Dave, Kyle at Mantic Games here. I want to say I appreciate that one of your "try new things" was to invite companies like us to use your channel as a platform.

Hearing you talk about the challenges of development, logistics, etc. is very accurate and relatable. If you ever want to talk challenges, gauge cost or timescales, general business, or hobby banter, I'd be happy to chat as someone who really understands the joys and pains.

I think you're doing the right thing by your customers despite everything and that's what shows that you've always done it for the right reasons.

Best of luck in the future. I think you'll find some peace, relief, and fun soon enough.

No skin in the game but have enjoyed MWG content over the years. I hope this whole situation works out for everyone involved. Really feel for the staff who have had to find somewhere else to work.

Dave, you're doing the right thing even if you tried a few other things first - you seem like a great guy and this is one of those 'why do bad things happen to good people' situations. One could understand if you never wanted to see a Ravaged Star box again in your life once this is all behind you!

Fair play to you Dave, not an easy video to make but this is definitely the right way to go.

Life time gold vault member Thayvian here , formerly of Warp Wide Wargaming . I came and filmed in the bunker with these guys right as it was being completed. I spent a great week up in Canada with these guys and it was a blast. I ate with Dave’s family at their house and toured the town with Quirk . Best time of my life at their house time. I know the guy who helped them buy the building and remembering being so impressed with what they put together there. I’m sad to hear all this news and I wish you and Matt both well in the future. Miss you guys. I’ll keep your families in my prayers. Also , I have a copy of Troooooolls signed by Dave and I read it to my 2 year old god son.

Definitely a step in the right direction, good on you, Dave. I'm positive you can, by keeping on the right path, solve the troubles and make MWG amazing again.

As someone who hasn't closely followed MWG in the last few years, I appreciate the update and explanations. It was nice to see the old Dave return during the unboxing. I hope the rest of the distribution of Ravaged Stars continues a pace and the controversy ends up as a tempest in a teapot

9:30 “we were planning an escape room” this whole thing sounds like a lesson in diversifying way too much, with people who go “wouldn’t it be cool if we did *this*” and no one says “wtf, no, stop, that’s not viable”.

As a long time supporter of MWG and a painter of some of your armies, I was saddened to hear of the current situation. I hope this new path forward and the new plans for MWG will revitalized you, it was awesome to see the joy in your eyes when you opened the box. Stay well!
