Why are we all of a sudden concluding that chantal is this unnamed human when said unnamed human was part of the hell expeditions much later on(would be in a prelude-like area) while chantal is a member of the community immediately after the new peace before the hell expeditions even started?? Their only simmiliarity is somebody who went missing. At the stage of the p-2 arg death companies and expeditions had been established, yet chantals community was only still trying to find food security right after the end of the war, none of it lines up.<br><br><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f91Z4kQc0P4&amp;t=309">5:09</a> the same assumption is made again which is completely contradicted if you even decide to consider the context of the rest of the book and the fact its a follow up to the 8-2 book. Which is immediately after the new peace was established and communities were still being reconnected, and the hell expeditions being very far in the future. They are not close at all.

  Chantal&apos;s name also appear in the contribution chart, so it means she lived long before the hell expedition.<br><br>What I think this is actually implying, is about how humanity discovered teleportation via those anomalies and breaches that started with an elevator making a person dissapear and get sent to hell, and most probably: To the fraud layer, where she could never come back from.<br><br>I say this because they knew about the dangers of hell, and they wouldn&apos;t dare to send humans past the doors of the Dante&apos;s poem, &quot;Abandon hope all ye who enter here&quot; is a warning of not coming back, ever. <br>Their only presential contact with hell was through the prelude zone where they surely tried to get the energy from. That&apos;s where and when the incident described in the P-2 terminal and ARG happened. There was NOT any further human technology they deliberately used past that zone. After that it was just hell re-using that same technology, that&apos;s why the terminals are updating just as V1 entered hell, after mankind&apos;s extinction, and it&apos;s also sending altered machines (which are able to use hell energy) to fight V1.

  It seems probable, though I think there is a possibility that Chantel was the spark that fuelled the hell expeditions and that the P2 arg is the conclusion of them. The beginning and the end.

  The skeleton of Chantel might be a reference to the punishment of fortune tellers in Fraud:<br>They had their heads turned around meaning they could only look backwards.<br>Gabriel had to choose where sinners went so why would normal people go to Fraud... unless they didn&apos;t? Fraud is as weird as hell itself is and Hell has some power over where Husks manifest... maybe they&apos;d sometimes end up in the Fraud layer? The thing thats interesting to me is that the skeleton in 1-4 died when infront of a mirror, and if Limbo makes its inhabitants a bit crazy then maybe the Mirror Reaper was there too, it is titled as a Reaper after all, someone who collects soul&apos;s. The Sullen who gave up swimming in the river Styx, and the Manniquines who were Husks that fell asleep feel similar to me... maybe theres a similarity with them and the purpose of the Mirror Reaper.

  Well, considering that the books are clues on how to find the passage to the secret level, it is possible that the character mentioned will be connected to the secret level. Maybe it&apos;s a character like the one who was looking for the SIZE-2 fish, that is, nothing seriously related to the lore.

  I’m actually writing a fanfic about this era of ULTRAKILL lore, I personally treat my take as a sort of AU, that way I can take really fucked up creative liberties that could get officially disproven later on. <br>It’s like a House Of Leaves style book, and follows several different main characters. It’s only a few days before The Crimson Rapture (when Hell Itself &nbsp;raptures everyone into Hell)

  When I first read the Fraud books, I thought the New Peace communities were a critique of anarcho-communism or something amongst these words.
