  After all these years we STILL don&apos;t know if Isaac and his parents lived ontop of a hill. He could&apos;ve merely imagined it!!! Maybe he lived in a FLAT, busy city!!<br>(Edit: This is sarcasm guys, I felt that was obvious T~T)

  I feel like the picture of demon isaac ontop of his dead parents is supposed to represent how Isaac believes he ruined his parent&apos;s marriage, and how evil he is for doing so, hence why he is in the demon form.

  I don&apos;t think demon Isaac is meant to represent his desire to stay in the chest, but rather his feelings regarding why he should just stay in the chest. Isaac clearly thinks that he&apos;s evil, and while the chest is part of his escape fantasies it&apos;s also a space where he is away from his family in his own world

Isaac never got that note. His dad left it for him, but his mom took it and secreted it away somehow. Even its description as just &quot;...&quot; feels like it&apos;s something Isaac didn&apos;t plan to put in, and happened to find for the first time, being left speechless. The way Isaac saw it, his dad left without a word. He only got that note much, much later.<br><br>Or, you know, maybe I&apos;m just stupid and there&apos;s some obvious gaping hole in that theory. I just like to believe it more than Isaac lying and dreaming it all up, it&apos;s a little bit more fun. (Great video, by the way, should you see this!)

  This is soooo good but I really disagree with your view of demon Isaac. I think it makes much more sense that it’s Isaac’s view of himself as a being of sin from ideas planted by his mom. It makes the picture of his dead parents make more sense. He’s convinced himself that he’s evil pretty much. It feels like a better interpretation than just the side of him that wants to go in the chest
