  Good theory overall, the only part I don&apos;t agree with is V1 being the single reason for humanity&apos;s extinction. The nocturnal systems were said to be used in a variety of wartime machines, not just V models. So if hell did something to exterminate humanity, it probably awakened every machine they created. Plus, we&apos;ve been told that V1&apos;s just different, not special.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s2TMJIz-OF4&amp;t=330">5:30</a> the mirror reaper being made to taunt v1 makes so much sense when people have pointed out that the reaper looks somewhat like an earthmover, which from lore is likely what v1 was made for and is the counter to it

  Now while I personally doubt V1 is responsible for the death of humanity as a whole, I do like the theory that the mirror reaper is made out of the creators of V1 and that 8-2 is where V1 (at least their code/specific AI) was made

  Way I see it, the reason V1 is in a New Peace settlement is because it stands as a representation of how and why V-1 became obsolete to humanity. It&apos;s hell forcing V-1 to fight in the very environment that despises what V-1 stands for, that being violence and war. The layer before Fraud, Violence, is the exact opposite of this. Hell showed V-1 the reason it was made, and then the reason it became useless.<br>I don&apos;t think V-1 was responsible for the death of humanity, but rather that machines themselves were indirectly responsible for it. I watched a video with a premise similar to this that states essentially that Hell saw the machines as the perfect weapon of war, that Hell decided that humanity, once thought to be the perfect embodiment of violence and sin, was out-done by its own creation. Due to this, hell decided to kill humanity to force the machines into hell to survive, giving it a source of entertainment and inspiration to try and mimic God in creating life of its own. Given the descriptions for the Deathcatchers and the very poetic passages given to us by maybe hell, I believe Hell is trying to create its own &apos;Perfect&apos; life, something that it believes V-1, the true Supreme Machine, could never hope to beat, maybe to lock V-1 in a never-ending cycle of battle like it did with the Earthmovers.

  Finally someone mentions the amount of development V1 gets in this layer. I couldn&apos;t help but notice how much V1 was almost being mocked through the ENTIRE layer by hell. The only part i don&apos;t agree with is that V1 single handedly killed humanity, i believe hell is responsible for killing humanity. But overall great theory.
