We also schould keep in mind, that both of them are children, so mono not realising that He endangers six with his behavior is still reasonable, as He doesn’t know better. You just can‘t expect them to have real morals or a moral compass.

Didn't the devs of the game say at some point something like "how would you feel if someone destroyed the only thing that made you feel comfortable" in response to someone asking why did Six drop Mono ? That would make Six' reason to drop Mono be that he destroyed her music box.

The primary reason stems from Mono destroying Six’s music box. When an official tweet from the Little Nightmares Twitter was asked to explain the ending, they responded by explicitly linking it to the game's core theme: escapism. In the Signal Tower, Six was twisted into a monster, but the music box provided her with a fantasy or paradise that blocked out the horrors of her reality. Six became entirely dependent on that escapism to cope. From Mono's perspective, he was saving his friend by breaking her free. However, from Six’s perspective, Mono broke into her safe space and violently ripped her away from the only comfort she had left. The developers confirmed that she felt genuinely betrayed and hurt by Mono's actions; to her, Mono was tearing her away from paradise and forcing her back into a world of pain.

The developers have also described Six as an anti-hero who lacks conventional heroism, idealism, or a traditional sense of morality. Very much a pragmatist that views things purely through the lens of self-preservation and survival. When she was forced back into reality, injured and confused, her survival instincts overrode any remaining sentimentality she had for him as well.

Six is directly snatched by the thin man. She definetly got a good look at his face and when Mono loses his bag in the end she finally sees his face and realizes what he is.

1:59 From Six's perspective, Mono smashing through the door with an axe, he may as well have said, "HERE'S JOHNNY" a la Jack Nicholson in The Shining. No wonder Six was hesitant.

Cool vid, but i have to add that I think you could interpret the end scene of six dropping mono as a more wrathful or vengeful scene for six, as we know she does like to hold grudges. I think its very possible that six was always considering leaving mono after he destroyed her music box and simply wanted to hurt him as much as possible by giving him hope that she might pull him up. As you said, six is very pragmatic, and I think that also applies to her sense of justice. When Mono took away what six wanted most, Six likely believed it was rational to take away what mono wanted most as well, which was connection, or at least hurt him in the greatest way possible. Though I do think she did hesitate and when she was forced to look him in the face while holding on to him, and you can even see her stance weaken after dropping him, perhaps indicating regret or sadness at having to do what she believed was fair.

The thing is I think shadow six could be a physical manifestation of her guilt but also it's a cursed world so her guilt could be warped also she could be trying to escape mono but never got the chance

I feel like he isn't dedicated to Getting to the end of the hallway but their just wandering around and whenever there's a TV he tries to interact with it because its so loud for him because he covers his ears, its the same for when the thin man kidnapped six, when mono doesn't reach out to help six he covers his ears so he could make the sound more quieter

Bro imagine you could choose how you react to monster six and her music box and that would influence the timeline. Hope they add stuff like that in the future
