In modern lore Mystra shared the Weave with Azuth and Eilistraee.

So Eilistraee is even more powerful than ever before!

The Dark Dancer! I loved how the youngest of The Seven was a Chosen of not only Mystra but Eilistraee due to the circumstances of her birth, and Quilé’s responsibilities were always quite different from her sisters. I remember reading Evermeet: Island of Elves by Elaine Cunningham and loving the story of The Seldarine and Eilistraee’s acceptance of the consequences of Araushnee’s transformation into Lolth, willing to join The Dark Seldarine because she knew some Drow would need the hope of returning to the surface and that not all gods were as cruel and capricious as The Spider Queen

I played a lupin ranger/rogue named Rolf the dog. He was a bounty hunter that specializes in lycans. He ended up switching from Selune to Eiliestraee.

What a wonderful lore video on my favorite Faerun goddess! Her stubborn conviction in the redemption of the drow is genuinely inspiring. The belief that we can overcome our circumstances to choose love and community instead is something sorely needed in this day and age.

Very good video sir!!! Eilistraee is one of my favorite of all the Faerun Pantheon, Not just the Drow but all around. She was a very well written Deity IMO. The story as I heard it was that her mom used her to shoot her father with an arrow because of a magic sash to pin the whole deed on her. Sehanine Moonbow who had been held prisoner got away early and told the story as it really was. Eilistraee left to be close to her brother, her people and to try to keep the worst of her mothers crap in check as best she could. That was the story my GM used I honestly cant remember what book it's from but I have heard it elsewhere as well. I think that's another cool factor about lore of Faerun, There are several versions and sometimes they are all true to some degree, Sometimes there is an unreliable narrator. IMO Ed Greenwood did a really great job (and the others who would later work with his lore)
