  Raistlin is probably one of the greatest characters ever written in a fantasy setting. <br>Thanks for bringing this to us. The Dragonlance saga is one of my favorites in fantasy.

  The first high fantasy novels I read after LOTR. Raistlin is the trendsetter, not a cliche. Amazing stories.

  When The Companions went into Xak Tsaroth Raistlin mentioned that a set of spell books were said to be lost when the city died. He knew they were written by Fistadantalis but did not mention the name to the companions.

  I remember reading these books many many years ago as a kid. Raistlin was always my favorite character in the Dragonlance books. I loved reading the entire Dragonlance series the main, twins series etc… Watching this makes me want to reread these books again, I still have them. Great books &amp; a great character.

  Just wanted to point out two things.<br>1) While Raistlin&apos;s will was a big part of him breaking the time loop, it would not have been possible without Tasslehoff traveling through time. As a Kender, a race created by the chaotic energies of the Grey Gem, traveling through time was forbidden because they had the potential to alter the past. Tasslehoff was not supposed to go back in time, but he jumped into the magic circle right at the completion of the spell.<br>2) Raistlin, Caramon, and Chrysania survived the Cataclysm through Raistlin using the Span the Land and Time spell to move them a hundred years after the Cataclysm. The portal to the Abyss had been moved to the territory of the Mountain Dwarves, and that is when he amassed the army to invade the territory to gain access to the portal. What killed Fistandatilus, and almost killed Raistlin was a tinker gnome whose devices actually worked, activated a device he made to teleport out of a mountain dwarf prison at the same moment the spell to open the portal was completed, and caused the magical energies to backlash on Raistlin/Fistandatilus. (Technically with Raistlin, he had killed the gnome, but not before the gnome had repaired a device the wizards gave Caramon to let him travel back to the present. It was the use of that device by Caramon and Tasslehoff that caused the reaction with Raistlin, and sent Tass and Caramon to the dead future where Raistlin had become a god.)<br>Love the content. Sorry all my comments seem to be corrections, but I don&apos;t like to comment unless I feel like I have something to add. Unfortunately, it sometimes makes me feel like I come across more critical than I intend things.

  How wonderfully nostalgic! It has been nearly 30 years since I read my first fantasy novels (Dragonlance Chronicles). I was so captivated with Raistlin and his story. I immediately followed the Chronicles books with the Twins trilogy, and then Brothers in Arms. I get goosebumps just thinking back on those adventures. I also became a Nightwish fan in my late 20&apos;s. I never made the connection between Wishmaster and Raistlin... The song has become completely new to me. Thank you!

  As a teen I related to Sturm, a child thrust into his father&apos;s shadow. As an adult, I relate to Raistlin.
