I mean, her religious creed is basically "You do what I tell you, and if you screw up I will stab you in the back. If you succeed I will also stab you in the back, just later, when I feel bored."

I know Lolth's story like the back of my hand, but I'll never get tired of hearing it. I love her's and the drow story as a whole so much!

Excellent vid. I've enjoyed all the vids I've watched and they're only getting better with time.

Really enjoyed the depth and detail given to Lolth and the drow here. Feels like they're often covered more one-dimensionally which made it challenging for me to buy into the drow and their mythos, as in why would anyone follow Lolth and be evil just because. It makes the concept of Lolth and drow more plausible and relatable, instead of leaning into narratives borne our of the sexism with the only, or at least the most prominent, matriarchal race being flatly evil with the exception of course, of one man, one golden boy, Drizzt. Drizzt is fine; his story just isn't my personal cup of tea.

While that may not have even been your intent, I mean it as a compliment for the way that you approach these topics.
I regularly rewatch your vids and this channel has been a haven for when I need respite from all the shit going on in the world. Enjoying the early releases a a member too :D

I've been surprised over the years how the drow artwork has changed. I'm over fifty, so when I first encountered drow they had jet black skin and white hair. That was a super strong look. Now I guess they are all lavendar, which is just less interesting.
