I was especially impressed with the actress who played Wendy Torrance. She sounds just like Shelley Duvall. The young woman who played Abra was great too. I thought this was a very worthy sequel to THE SHINING.

They did the same thing to Violet that they did to Baseball Boy. They killed her, captured her steam in a cannister, and that's what they fed to the mind control girl turning her into a "vampire" like them. She and Violet weren't the same person.

Doctor Sleep is an underrated film that deserves far more recognition. It weaves eerie atmosphere with unsettling visuals and emotional weight, crafting a story that honors The Shining while standing powerfully on its own.
