Larry was a mastermind on the court. I don't care who you are or who's all on your team. If you wasn't prepared, ol' Larry was gonna show you what up.

You should watch the dream team documentary. Yeah he let them win. He wanted to show the team that they needed to work together and listen to him. They were all trying to show each other up instead of working together. Michael Jordan sat out most of that mock game. Before you doubt it, learn.

Shawn Kemp broke Larry's Indiana high school scoring record and also Eliminated Larry's little brother's team from the state championship. Larry took it to Shawn that night, lol. When Larry and Shawn spoke for the first time before the game Larry asked him if he was the one who broke his record and beat his little brother and Shawn puffed up his chest and said "yeah, that's me", then Larry decided to school the young fellow, when they pulled Shawn out after the 50 points allowed Larry yelled "I'm the best fucking player from Indiana". Later Larry had Shawn come down to his home in French Lick Indiana for a summer so they could workout together and he took Shawn under his wing. Michael Cooper gave Bird the best compliment when asked about Larry's trash talk, he said it aint trash talk if you can back it up and Larry could definitely back it up.

They had no chance at all against the dream team. It wasn't that he let them win, it was that they were protecting the dream team from injuries.
