  Yeah, it's truly sad the amount of disrespect that not only Bird, but much of the pre 2010s players have gotten over the years. Bird played in probably one of the most talent rich decades in basketball history. A league full of legends in their own right. But he was the one they called Legend.

  These kids today are nutzo, I grew up in the days of Dr J, Nik, Magic, Jabar, Bird, MJ, Barkley, Olijawhoun, Xavier,  Miller, and sooo many other dominant Monsters, and i heard stories of Maravitch, Russell, and Chamberlain,  this kids have no respect

  Players today don’t even see Larry as good but we all know the 80s a lot tougher and rougher then this  decade his stats show how great he was after bsck surgery and surgery on both Achilles and still play. Broken jaw came back in game and was on fire. These players today are soft and rules rhat help the scoring

  There was podcast with LB and KD talking goal is 20 seasons but they wouldn’t have lasted as long in the 80s and combined between them theu play 2 full 82 games and that’s becaaue they don’t have to now league is so soft

  Today’s players wouldn’t be able to play back then. Today they carry the ball every time they dribble. Camp out in the lanes and play zero defense.

  I don&apos;t think Larry Bird was slow. &nbsp;He was so casual he appeared slow. Why? I have seen some posts where he is faster than many players when he wanted to be.<br>My favorite players as well as Mugsy - the 5 foot 3 inch player.

  Glad to finally see a video about Bird, that isn’t all about what a great trash talker he was. &nbsp;No, he was an incredibly great player. And then there were the obvious racial aspect.<br>No, trash talking or was white player, sorry he was an all-time great basketball player.
