  I wish him luck. The current emphasis from our state leaders promotes growth no matter the cost and unless there are big changes in Austin the door will stay open to the data centers and other power and water mass users.

  Mr. French seems sincere. No problem letting him run with it for now. One thing I would like to see in New Braunfels, is some competition for NBU. The bills I get from them are ridiculous. Example: my water usage goes down, but my wastewater fee goes up (and higher than the water usage bill)? I looked at bills from when I lived in Copperas Cove and there weren&apos;t any availablity charges. Crazy.

  Great interview.<br>This is a good man, I sense it. As a Puerto Rican born person and a very long resident of NB I foresee great things. <br>Please STOP THE GROWTH (building), please look into lowering utility bills (NBU) they are out of control, please look out for us elderly people, please stay humble and remember your Dad’s honesty. Thank you for looking out for first responders, they matter!<br>I sense humbleness and that’s why I voted for you. Count me in for volunteer work and support!

  As a 28 year resident of NB, I can say that most of the &quot;improvements&quot; have not improved anything at all. The disregard for citizens has been a slap in the face to all the people who just want NB to remain, as much as possible, the beautiful, laid-back town it was, and the reason we all moved here in the first place to build our lives. We do not want to be San Antonio north or Austin south. We want our own identity and our own culture. Free downtown parking for citizens, manageable (or eliminated) taxes, and of course water, water, water. <br>Graffiti and crime should not be tolerated at all, and uncontrolled development (especially apartment buildings) need to be stopped now. We voted for Mr. French to see to that change going forward, and we expect results.
