  Great video. I moved here for the winter warmth and very short cold periods. Coming from a place where the average snow year brings 250 inches of snow I marvel at the response to a little cold.

  You're familiar with harsh winters, I'm sure, being from MI. They can be brutal here in central WI, too. Fun to see those vids- they look like late Nov or early Dec here. When lucky, we have made it to right before Christmas without snow, but sometimes it comes by Thanksgiving and stays until spring.

  I feel blessed to have come from a cold state, and now being in Texas but.. This last storm was an extreme one that took over most of the US. I would be interested in seeing winters across a few decades rather than coverage of a record breaking storm to get a better feel of how one city or another performs. Otherwise great shots and coverage!

  I was hopping for some snow but all we got is ice and low temps. &nbsp;Didn&apos;t mind the cold weather, still got my walks in the park.

  Yep. 10-20 days a year it drops below 50. We pretty much close the entire state down until it returns to 90 in a month or so.. Truth.

  We did not get out till Tuesday. &nbsp;We are a Canyon Lake. &nbsp;Monday my husband fell on the ice and now needs surgery. &nbsp;He tore his rotator cuff.

  Raad, we&apos;ve noticed the car batteries aren&apos;t lasting like they used to. And previously a great thing to keep in your car, for this very reason.. was those Type S Car Jumpers you can get at Costco... I used to be able to jump at 12 cylinder truck, as long as I had full charge on the Type S... but that one eventually conked out and we got two more at Costco, and neither one would even jump any car we tryed even with full charge. And of course you don&apos;t find out till you tossed the box and lost the receipt. So I&apos;ve gotta remember to get a new stronger one. Sad how things aren&apos;t working or lasting like they used to, even when you&apos;re wiling to give up hard earned cash. But it&apos;ll be a great thing for you to take with you when headin&apos; out, {I used to keep in car, but maybe that was why old one went out eventually from the extremes of heat} cause you don&apos;t need another car to jump it... you just stick it on your battery, click a button and boom, your car or truck starts, all by yourself.. which has came in clutch a bunch of times and used to help others stranded too.
