  The way Elvis moved on stage was considered obscene by the older generations. That’s why she says, “This is not for children’s eyes.” She had no idea that Elvis got those moves from Forrest.

  Saying “it feels like Jenny was running from herself” is a brilliant observation. So many reactors misread her situation as well as the lifelong impacts abuse can cause. Great reaction to a great movie.

  Adults were freaked out by Elvis’ dancing which is why when he was on the Ed Sullivan Show they weren’t allowed to film him below the waist. Thems was crazy times. 😆🤘

  There&apos;s a saying that I think fits Jenny, &quot;Hurt people hurt people&quot;. &nbsp;Jenny is damaged from childhood, and it takes her most of her life to come to grips with the idea that she can be worthy of love.<br><br>This movie is full of so many emotional moments, positive and negative, and the cast and crew did a fantastic job.

Forrest had disappeared without a way to be reached, embarking on a cross-country run driven by his own emotional journey. Jenny, now a mother, had to think about stability and care for her child. She couldn’t chase after someone she couldn’t find, no matter how much she may have wanted to. Her choices weren’t perfect, but they were deeply human—shaped by a lifetime of hurt, healing, and hard decisions.

  YES! She doesn’t feel like she deserves respect or love. She knows Forest is good for her but she doesn’t feel like she deserves that. He is right on.
