We had a dire bear random encounter. It was epic. Not one of those creatures we had came up against before. Like fighting a 15 foot tall short faced bear. We got away all still alive. And called that a win.

As always, amazing video. I'm a new-ish DM with little free time to prep. The starter set and your videos help so much. Thank you!

Finally I had no clue what to do with this campaign. Thanks

My players tried to fight a Bugbear. Full party wipe. They had fun though. I think.

Really useful. Thank you.

I see all adventures as a journey/road-trip. Even a dungeon is a journey of one room to the next, with junctions and decisions to be made along the way. Travel between scenes is often under utilised, but is a great way to slip in things that have been missed.

I'm a rubbish reader and easily overlook cues for who or what points the way from one node to the next. So, I write a list of the links I expect to need each session.

When my hobos murder an important NPC guide they always search the corpse (as ya do) and discover an ad-lib letter providing the vital information they were supposed to role-play out of the NPC 😆.

Absolutely great and fun ideas for running this *Starter Set*. I’m an RPG veteran, but I’m pretty rusty, seeing as the last session I played was probably nearly 15 years ago... haha!
