  I don&apos;t think this manga needs an anime adaptation, but I think it would work as a TV drama series. Yet again, I really love this a lot, along with Happiness.

  On a complete side note, the scratchiness of the crosshatching really adds to the ominous feelings in the manga. It&apos;s really imcredible.

  The look that Shigei&apos;s mom gave Seiko, it was pretty ominous. &nbsp;It&apos;s almost like she suspected her sister of pushing her son off of the cliff.

  This manga is quite literally just a woman emotionally abusing and manipulating her son and then him being forced to forgive her bc shes his mom. I dont think ill ever see a more true to life story than this. Its so fucking tragic the decades of life she stole from him and in the end she is still forgiven. I see stories like this all the time and rarely ever see then told in manga or tv

  I feel so so sorry for Seichi. He is so manipulated by his mom. And even when he wants to rebel or when he disagrees with her, he always does what she says because he has been manipulated his whole life into thinking that he has to do anything she says and that she is doing the right thing. It’s so sad

  I loved this series.<br><br> When I read it, I remember seeing people criticising Fukiishi for her &quot;risqué&quot; behaviour, but that sort of thing is actually very common for girls with her kind of trauma
