  dark adaptation of the road is like saying "microwaved charcoal" that book is already pitchblack you can't make it harder

  i enjoyed these. the story is dark but it doesnt dwell on it. the world is over but as you said, the humanity that shined between the harshness of the environment made me feel like i am actually there with them.<br>imagining how heavenly that soda felt like. how fresh the waterfall is, how amazing would it feel to sleep in an actual bed instead of the ground in the middle of a storm. very well written.

  This comic hits me especially hard as i (16) have a father who is 68. The way that the father look and acts really hits on my fear of my dad passing on. Thank God he is fit for his age

  This story breaks my heart in a good way. It&apos;s so sad but there&apos;s enough hope that you can root for the boy, even if it&apos;s heavily implied from the beginning that his father will die. And the people feel real, like I can absolutely see people ending up as cannibal gangs or something similar when faced with a total lack of food sources.
