HBCU Alums watch A Different World Episode 1 REACTION | "Irreconcilable Differences"

A Different World Season 1 Episode 1 REACTION | "Irreconcilable Differences" | Syntell & Mikel-Claire Syntell and Mikel-Claire are back for the Hillman College reunion nobody knew they needed, and Dwayne Wayne and Whitley Gilbert's daughter Deborah walks straight into her parents' shadow on her very first day of freshman year. Between a chaotic housing mix-up, an old flame who happens to be a star athlete with a very familiar last name, and a curfew violation that lands the whole crew in front of the dean, no spoilers on how deep this legacy runs. Post-reaction: both hosts had a great time getting emotional about the return of the Hillman universe, some real talk about what this show meant to them growing up and how it shaped their own HBCU experience, honest observations on the faster pacing compared to the original three-camera sitcom format, and plenty of excitement (and a little uncertainty) about where the new generation of characters is headed.
