Honestly, when Simon said “not that gay,” I understood him as talking about himself personally, not making a general statement about how gay people should behave. That's how I interpreted it.

I always get teary eyed when Simon talks to his parents, especially his mom. Although his dad really made up for his initial reaction ❤

Enjoyable movie for sure! Simon and his boyfriend also do a cameo in the tv series Love, Victor. You should guys should watch it. And guys, requesting you to please react to the movies, Beautiful Thing and Trick. They are such sweet and enjoyable movies, I just don't understand why youtubers don't react to these classics!
Edit: Just saw you guys have already reacted to Love, Victor like 5 years ago. Going to go watch those soon. 😊

6:53 this made me think of Dr Jean Milburn in "Sex Education" not knowing how to turn the "therapist" part of herself off when Otis is involved

Many gay & gay-friendly actors in the cast: Miles Heizer, Joey Pollari, and of course Keiynan Lonsdale.

Could you please maybe watch bad buddy the series, its an amazing love story with its ups and downs. ❤ Your content is amazing btw, and I may not be apart of the queer community, but learning and understanding the hardships and beauty of it all is so enlightening.

When Simon said “Not that gay,”it bothered me a little too. I can understand that that’s not me and I get it. But I kind of got the impression that Simon being influenced by his father’s attitude without even realizing it..

I would put some of the friends in the bin as well. You know your friend was just outed and humiliated and you get this information that he’s been being blackmailed and carried this burden and fear for months. And your first reaction is to attack and assume Simon acted out cruelty instead of fear. I get that they’re teenagers too but a little bit of accountability would have been nice.
