Keep going Louise. Don't let bad journalism and fear mongering get you down. The truth will prevail in the end.

Doctors should not be practising medicine if they dont have an open mind. I am vet surgeon and the same goes for us.

Love Dr Newson! I have learned so much about how to advocate for my needs with confidence.

Because of Dr Newsom, I spoke to my GP here in California. I convinced my doctor that HRT was critical for women. She reluctantly gave me estrogen and progesterone based on my knowledge from you!! Hooray for my doctor for being open minded. 6 months later I met my doctor again. I said how fantastic I was feeling and wanted testosterone now. She said yes! She now studies HRT and is a great promoter. I got lucky with an open minded doctor and now she’s helping more women. A win, win because of Dr Newsom across the pond. 🥳🥳

You are more than just a GP and it just goes to show that if you believe in something enough to make a change you can do it. So glad you have a lovely husband to support you.

The BBC seems to be a duplicitous organisation. Your work is amazing Dr Louise, thank you for all you do for women 🙏

The patriarchy is threatened by women who are educated, take responsibility for their own health and know how to heal themselves and others.

I'm in Australia, so I don't know what happened on Panorama, and it sounds awful what they did to you and with your work, Dr Newson. But please don't give up. We need you. Sending loads of strength and energy.

Thank you for everything you do. Thanks to hrt, i have my life back!! when i asked for testosterone (which I knew I needed!) i was told no, when I went back and basically said my marriage was on the rocks due to lack of libido - they gave it to me!!! so if it effects the men, then they listen, how ridiculous!!!

My daughter was put on antidepressants just like that, without any tests or assessments. And now we have found out , thanks yo me pushing and pushing for more tests snd research, that she has PCOS and most lik5 he depression is caused by hormones disbalance and all she needed all those years was progesterone! I HATE the fact how antidepressants are given to everyone so easily like sweeties but hormones are seen as "dangerous and damaging ".Damage, real and catastrophic, is done by antidepressants and absence of proper assessments for women, both young and mature! This isa national shame, this NHS system, how it treats women.
