Every Sunday I would go through the Sunday newspaper to find the Parade Magazine and read her column before anything else, even the comics!

My mom did the same, she kept my results secret, I scored 2nd yr university when I was in elememtary school, she had me tested after I was appreciating antiques in an antique store and found that odd for my age. I still remember that antique store located in Miami today. I remember being tested also but I was never given the results. This explains why she expected consistent honor roll despite having me change schools almost annually and her psychological response I wont get into it but lets just say it wasnt great and no child should go through what I went through.

An amazing lady. I'm still struggling with the solution to the "Monty Hall" problem. Her case is an interesting example of linguistic and mathematical ability, which are often considered almost mutually incompatible.

Marilyn vos Savant’s 228 IQ is the perfect example of an 80s marketing campaign. It was based on an obsolete 'mental age' formula that completely inflated her score. If she had taken a standardized adult test (like WAIS) in her 20s, she would probably score around 140-150. <br><br>That’s very high, but nowhere near the historical genius she was sold as.<br>Her actual intellectual achievements, polymathy, and precociousness don't hold a candle to real prodigies like William Sidis or Kim Ung-yong, who were doing advanced calculus and inventing languages in diapers. <br><br>And let's not even mention John von Neumann,putting her in the same sentence as him is just unfair. <br>Von Neumann was practically a different species, the genius of geniuses.<br><br> Marilyn was a smart pop-culture celebrity, not a historical mind

I remember watch monty hall ahow as a kid. Id always switch doors, if he enticed you into swtching to a bad door, eventually he would get hit with a class action suit. So more than 50% of time as a min, he would entice you to awitch.
