  I started HRT at 72, as well as an oestrogen vaginal ring. Transformative. Brain is better, sleep is better. Why is it so hard for women to get help.

  I've been on hrt since  I was 42, I'm 69 now. I will never give it up.

  This is so reassuring. I’m 66 and started HRT 4 weeks ago. For the last 12+ years I’ve been struggling physically & mentally. Anxiety has been debilitating… I’d reached such a low point 4 weeks ago I really did worry about myself. Fortunately I managed to get an appointment at my surgery that day… and amazingly the GP I saw was a hormone specialist for my area. I started HRT the next day & within days everything changed… my mood improved, my joints & muscle pain disappeared, I was back walking 15-20k steps a day, more energy etc. It’s transformed my life! Initially I was worried about starting hormone replacement ‘so late’ - with all the negative attitudes regarding HRT, so watching this video has reassured me. Thank you x

  My sister (62) has severe osteoporosis with -3.6 in her lumbar spine, but no doctor told her that bone loss can be directly linked with &nbsp;the loss of estradiol. After months of listening to your podcast, &nbsp;I am so happy that I finally managed to convince her to start with a low dose of transdermal estradiol plus micronized progesterone for preventing further loss. She has no other risk factors. We both also started weight training. Her doctors did not suggest that to her either, only vit D and walking 🤷🏻‍♀️🤬.<br>TY so much for educating us women worldwide. I listen from Germany 🙏💕♀️

  Dr. Newson, this the best discussion I&apos;ve seen yet on the importance of hormones after 60. I was one who quit taking them after the WHI study, after having had a hysterectomy. &nbsp;Then a few years ago, I was on pellets for a few months. My doctor died and was off them until I turned 80. I had a hard time finding a dr who would prescribe them. I finally found a wonderful pa. I am on all 3 hormones plus vaginal cream and I will never be without them again! I refuse to be like the women I used to be a caregiver for. There just is no reason to suffer like they have. Thank you for all you do.

  I&apos;m 69 , been married for 45 years, and just started with hrt , back in the day they put me on a antidepressant, &nbsp;really upset that I lost all those years of intimacy and really sick of dealing with all the urinary issues!!!! Thank you and all the other Dr&apos;s giving this important information on utube, I will be forever grateful. My husband is a saint for putting up with me, especially when i was weaning off psych drugs! It was brutal. Much love to you, Carol from 🇺🇸

  I took estrogen only around 57 then stopped. &nbsp;I started HRT fully at 60 and it was a game changer. &nbsp;My previous &quot;Specialist&quot; told me I couldn&apos;t take anything because I was 60 so I found another menopause specialist who changed my life.

  Luckily I can afford the out of pocket costs of HRT via one telehealth company who will prescribe for older women, if I hit a wall with local doctors. &nbsp;However, the wait to talk to menopause specialists is very long and my OB/GYN just says the Menopause Society doesn&apos;t recommend starting after age 60. &nbsp;I&apos;m angry that medicine failed a whole generation of women. &nbsp;I&apos;m angry that I&apos;ve lost 20 years of feeling better. &nbsp;I&apos;m angry that I&apos;m now having bone medications (nasty stuff) pushed at me when I could have avoided osteoporosis and could still get treatment that would help my bones. &nbsp;I&apos;m quite sure if men went through these challenges, the medical system would not treat them this way.

  Omg, I am so pleased I came across this channel. I&apos;m 59, been on hrt for 7yrs and absolutely love it. It makes me feel better. I have osteopaenia which is on borderline osteoporosis. I have a huge family history of diabetes and heart disease. I walk whenever I can, choose stairs over lifts etc. I&apos;m healthy. However, I am under pressure from my GP to come off hrt because I&apos;ve &quot;been on it too long&quot; and I&apos;m &quot;almost 60yrs&quot;. I could literally cry! Thanks for this video and all the positive comments to the video. I will keep battling to stay on it !

  Even though this situation doesn’t apply to me, my inquisitive science and compassionate mind asked my hormone doctor about a female starting BHRT years down the road after menopause. &nbsp;I wanted the correct information since I talk with females everywhere about hormones and these stages of life.<br><br>He does prescribe what the female needs, after reviewing her health history and blood work.<br><br>He has patients in all upper age ranges, including the 80’s. &nbsp;Huge success for them.<br><br>My doctor is a pioneer in his field since he started in 2007, and is research and actual experiences based… tons of info.<br><br>I tell him all the time how much I respect and appreciate him. &nbsp;I have been with him 11 years. &nbsp;Not only did he start helping me when I found out I was in Perimenopause (he was the source of the answer I was hunting for); he also started educating me so I started educating females 11 years ago.<br><br>Priceless from all angles. ❤
