  They were kinda cooking with this game and soundtrack...if was just a lil easier lol.<br><br>Dude if you ever do SNES hard games, do Super Gouls n Ghosts. It was the newer, upgraded version of Ghosts n Goblins. It was cooler, but just as hard imo

  Silver Surfer is considered incredibly powerful in the comics, and is often ranked among the most potent beings in the Marvel Universe. He can destroy planets and travel faster than the speed of light... but his greatest weakness is bullshit NES hitboxes.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_vmsBi_PZgI&amp;t=82">1:22</a> <br>Fun fact: Whether Galactus is a bad guy or not totally depends on which comic continuity you&apos;re reading. Back in the day, a lot of writers just straight-up made him a villain because, hey, he eats planets and tried to snack on Earth multiple times. It made sense to treat him like the ultimate space tyrant.<br><br>But over time, other writers took some creative liberties and reimagined him less as a villain and more like a force of nature. Think of it this way, you can’t sue a tornado for wrecking your house. Same logic applies. Galactus didn’t choose to become what he is in later comic, he was the lone survivor of a previous universe, transformed into a cosmic being with a bottomless hunger. It&apos;s not that he wants to devour worlds, he has to. Unlike thanos who volunteered to be a villain and admit he&apos;s bad, galactus is just a space natural disaster who have no choice but to eat and he must eat.<br><br>Later stories even show Galactus treating his heralds with actual respect. He protected Silver Surfer’s home planet and attended his funeral when he died. And he kept his promise to never consume his planet if he become his herald. Heck. He even evolved into a golden, heroic version of himself who heals the universe. Major glow up.<br><br>But back in the older comics, like during the era this NES game came from, Galactus was definitely the big bad. Just a giant, purple planet chomper with zero chill who treated his heralds like tools and munched on asteroids like popcorn.<br><br>So yeah, whether he’s a villain or not? Totally depends on who you ask, and which decade of comics you’re talking about.<br><br>And yes, I&apos;m autistic, so sorry and not sorry for the yapping, I can&apos;t help myself.

  Speaking for myself, I think this series is so popular because it’s something between a Let’s Play and a speedrun. A lot of us remember these games from our childhood, but never beat them because they were too hard. It’s fun to watch speedrunners beat something like this in 10 minutes, but it doesn’t replicate what most of us experienced as kids. A well edited video where GPB plays the games as intended kind of lets us revisit this era of gaming, but without having to put in the 8+ hours ourselves to actually beat one of these games.

  This game feels more like an arcade game, with a high score system, no saving, and being brutally difficult to make you spend more money.

  The reason Silver Surfer flies on a surfboard in space is because he was created by Jack Kirby who was REALLY good at creating OUT THERE concepts. Kirby&apos;s style relied a lot on drawing these incredibly fancy and bizarre things and he wrote the same way: he created, or co created, such characters like Devil Dinosaur (a T-Rex looking dinosaur who was red and smarter than the average dinosaur), Komandi, the Last Boy On Earth (a young adult male on a world where all other humans got turned into human/animal hybrids), Fin Fang Foom, a giant Chinese dragon in purple shorts, and the New Gods for DC, a whole &apos;modern day mythology&apos; which had characters with names like Vermin Vunderbar, Devilance the Pursuerer, the Forever People, Granny Goodness, and the one that more people recognize as he ended up one of the big bads of DC Comics: Darkseid.<br><br>The man was both an artist and weird as heck, And that&apos;s why there&apos;s a silver man flying on a surfboard in space.

  Your ability to beat a super hard game in 8 1/2 hours with no prior knowledge of how the game works, is very impressive. Well done and I&apos;m loving the series!
