  My mum was the first one *(in the family! Not the first person ever omg lol) to beat this game! She figured out the strategies and threw Scar off the cliff to applause... that was her first taste of gaming and what followed was a fire in her to complete Alladdin and then all the Mario games on the Mario All-Stars cartridge. She played my Snes more than me! It all started with The Lion King 😂

  I remember watching my uncle beat Scar at the end, and it was one of the most liberating feelings... like watching David kill Goliath. This game was my Dark Souls when I was 8.

  I'm 33 and despite owning this game for my entire childhood, watching this video is the first time I've ever seen the elephant graveyard 😅

  I remember playing this as a kid, and it was impossible for me. But my mom took over after I got bored from not progressing. And she beat the whole thing, lmao. Our moms were the true gamers.

  I owned this game as a kid and never even got to adult Simba. My dad quoted the "ow" sound effect for years because of how often he heard it 😂

  The animations and art in this game for it's time is very well done. They did a lot when it came to art direction

  I can&apos;t remember if it was my cousin or my step brother, but when he finally got to Scar, the whole family gathered to watch the fight, amazed anybody got that far.

  The fact that the second level is just a dramatic jump up from the first really makes the dev&apos;s intentions clear to me.
