I wish they would talk about those of us that don't do well on progesterone, it made myself and so many others i talked with so very miserable. For about 9mths i tried all the methods , 100 mg then 200mg down to 50ish every other day. It was terrible. And yes vaginally and rectal. My stomach hurt my face was a mess with some kind of rash that didn't itch my mood was so low. I finally got a iud. I know it isn't bio identical but it is working for me. Estrogen has been great.

I would love to hear about your thoughts and advice on those neurodivergents who do not tolerate progesteron, as there seems to be a higher number of neurodivergents who get extreme mental side-effects like anxiety and depression.

We don't have superpowers, people. Each super thing we can do comes at a huge energetic cost. No one expects this of neurotypicals - it's unhelpful ableism. We deserve better.

As far as I understand ADHD covers most people’s personalities & my eldest son got an extra year to do his PhD by playing the system. Feel uncomfortable with the over diagnosis of intangible behaviours & traits. Bio identical hormones have really changed my life & I feel very lucky to be able to get them.

I'm sorry Kate but you lost me at "I'm very holistic, I don't do well with anything synthetic". That term and concept have been so widely misused they've lost their original meaning; often used by people who don't bother practising based on evidence based information, and lecture people to avoid a lot of beneficial medications and treatment protocols based on "they're simply not natural ". I'd be careful when it comes to those people and while I dont wanna assume you're one of them, I'm just wondering how much you know about or commit to this holistic approach in life, for example isn't your makeup or skin care technically synthetic? Cheers

I was also diagnosed with ADHD at 43 years old. Back then it was called ADD

This is very apt for me at this time. I am autistic and am soon going to see a psychiatrist for ADHD soon.
I have been trying, with my doctor, to get my oestrogen levels up for about 15 months. I am a poor absorber. I still have symptoms remaining. My progesterone and testosterone are ok but it's my oestrogen.
I changed to gel from patches a month ago, patches became too irritating - not sure if it's working as well, the upcoming blood test will show. The autism is easier to manage than the ADHD sypmptoms but until my hormones are optimised, I think the symptoms just aggravate the whole thing. 🙏
