I don't know who needs to hear this, but I've witnessed firsthand how you can move towards secure attachment with an avoidant if you're both willing to. Even having the conversation of attachment styles and working together towards secure attachment can be a form of vasopressin bonding. What's funny is that during our conversation he confessed that he had slept with 9 women before me and the experience was "like having a really good meal at a restaurant" for him but he was tired of that lifestyle and wanted more.<br>I feel like we really built something together where we could both feel safe and flourish and I wish that for everyone on this channel ❤<br><br>Edit: thank you for all the positive responses, it's been 2 years for me and it truly works if both partners are willing to make it work.

This was actually really confirming for me. This comes naturally for me. My avoidant partner says he's never had anyone tell him exactly what they want and like and compliment him like i do. I've got him to buy all sorts of novelty items and we've been having fun exploring and experimenting. i can see such a HUGE difference in him, in bed, from when we first started being intimate to now. He talks to me more during sex, because he knows i like it. I can tell he's truly trying to please me, so everything you're saying makes perfect sense.

My gosh, Adam. Thank you for this. After watching your video, I realized that I often push my man away when he tries to help me with a project because I was raised to be fiercely independent, handy, clever and strong. So I’m actively preventing the bonding I want so badly to have. 😮
