Wow, thank you so much for this incredible upload!

Six and a half hours of nonstop, raw footage of a completely unnecessary war that forever changed the lives of any and all parties involved. Countless individuals, including civilians being amongst the highest of casualties and for what?

I think most veterans would agree this was a senseless war and we really had no business meddling in it from the start.

Regardless, thank you for this chunk of time, that is history that would otherwise be forgotten had it not been for the courageous people documenting it all.

I love that; talking about Agent Orange, Blue, and White, they explain how by '67 over half a million acres of jungle have been sprayed with the chemicals, how experts worry that it might actually be harmful, and that American producers and users of the chemical (US, Dow, Monsanto) swear that it's harmless to humans, animals, and water. Their source? "Trust me bro."

I was lucky. I graduated from high school in 1967, I was a poor student, my parents wanted me to go to college, but i did not want to spend 4 more years as a failing student so on my 18 birthday enlisted in the U.S. Navy, to get out of Dad's house, and perhaps learn how to work on diesel engines. The draft board sent the Sheriff to get me at Dad's house while i was safely enjoying boot camp in San Diego. A number of my high school class mates and neighbor hood friends were drafted and died in the infantry. I learned so much in the Navy, went on three cruises to the Gulf of Tonkin. I never got the opportunity to be a hero, i didn't want that, After boot camp they flew me to the USS KITTY HAWK, and i landed on the ship in the Gulf of Tonkin. the second day on ship i went to the ships library where they had a globe and i learned where Viet Nam was. Best decision of my life joining the Navy most likely i would have died in Viet Nam. The Navy took good care of me. I loved the chow in boot camp and on the ships. The Officers treated me with respect and encouraged me to always keep improving myself. after 4 years i got out and became a hippy and had a dog named bill.
