Not sure if anyone is in the know but one of the most recognisable photographs of Saigon’s fall is still routinely attached to the wrong building (I find facts like that fascinating). The rooftop helicopter evacuation was at the Pittman apartments, roughly half a mile from the US embassy. I run a small channel exploring overlooked places and hidden history, so tracking a familiar story back to its actual location really interests me. That distinction matters here because one rooftop has come to represent thousands of separate experiences of escape and abandonment. A photograph can become more famous than the people and place it records!

Vietnam is currently a beautiful and extremely safe country. If you visit, you will be amazed by the changes.

Just like GB and France the USA will suffer at the hands of their own people from the colonies they invaded back in the days of empire. The USA can't be defeated in a conventional war that's why it will come from within .The people are restless, the majority of it's people are just surviving, the american dream they'd been sold since they were kids the Hollywood illusion of the dream that don't come true. The illusion of the fairytale turns into the nightmares of Freddy cruger. If the yanks go belly up so will half the world. Al has changed the game. Al takes no prisoners it's the oppsit of a human. It's programmed without any feelings in the software. Computers are 0 and 1 without any emotions in the algorithems.
