  Let&apos;s be real too, the exact traits the audience attacks Hannah for are exacerbated by all these people around her! Especially Adam, Marnie, and Jessa. Like holy shit people really underestimate how much being surrounded by toxic people can affect you and how you behave. Not saying Hannah didn&apos;t do anything wrong, but she receives zero grace especially being so young. This show deserved more appreciation thanks for the lovely video!!

  It’s crazy because when I look at how people view Carrie Bradshaw vs this character the divide couldn’t be bigger. Don’t get me wrong I know people have been on Carrie from time to time but that doesn’t hold a candle to how much vitriol Hannah gets.

  I&apos;m so glad to hear you beat Adam&apos;s back in. i remember seeing them shipped all the time only to watch the show and HATE them as a couple simply because of how verbally abusive he is.

  it&apos;s crazy adam survived the night after saying that 11 year old shit because if it were me? i&apos;d have blacked out and woken up with his blood on my hands. I stopped watching the show early on, but i do remember that Hannah was put in the ass kicking machine daily and her friends were the ones with their pockets full of quarters. the scapegoating was crazy in this show.

  I binged Girls a few years ago and really connected with Hannah&apos;s character cause I went through a lot of the same things that she did, mainly that my abusive ex dated my best friend after we broke up, so the fact that I saw so many people hating on Hannah online was definitely shocking. Like yes, she was self-absorbed, but so was literally every other character on the show. Being annoying/not conventionally attractive shouldn&apos;t mean that she deserved that to happen to her.
