  Pointed out in some reviews but what makes it terrible is that Lizzie Borden is an incredibly compelling story already. It&apos;s got drama, crime, murder, a fantastic tale of a woman facing a male-dominated court system....And Murphy throws that out for lesbian fanfic that somehow links her to Madame Bathory and Aileen Wuornos.

  You can&apos;t convince me that Ryan Murphy isn&apos;t just targeting stories that are further and further back in time so he can avoid the criticism of survivors and people who are still affected by the crimes.

  Ryan Murphy must pay for his crimes against humanity and survivors/victims of true crime. Also more tv executives need to learn to tell him no because a good amount of the recent stuff that he’s producing and writing have been absolute chaotic slop.

  Monster should’ve been cancelled after how appalling the Gein one portrayed that mother and her son, who still have living family members. And what the fuck is Elizabeth Bathory (who was likely innocent and the victim of a plot to steal her land and money) and Aileen Wurnos doing here????

  It really upset me that of all the things Murph decided to fictionalize, he decided to show an actual rape that happened?? I guess it was supposed to be &apos;powerful&apos; bc we get to see her kill him after, but I&apos;d rather just not see it? Whole season is meant to be feminist woo girl power in the same tacky why Ryan always does feminism bc his understanding of feminism is insanely shallow.

  the classic case of &quot;people treat real people like fictional characters, and fictional characters like real people&quot; - like this was a real woman. Why did they have to base it off a real person? Couldn&apos;t just they just make some characters up and make it &quot;inspired&quot; by the story around Borden.
