  I am from East Africa, we are told to never answer a voice that sounds like someone you know especially in places they are unlikely to be. Always be careful since answering is considered to be an invitation most of the times. Thank you for this video i really enjoyed it, Africa is a spiritual continent and i get suprised of how many stories sound similar to ours.

  I remember my grandparents telling me not to answer the door during the wee hours of the night, not to answer when someone is calling my name in the dark, and never to whistle at night. Now, i kinda know why.

  We have a similar story like this in the Appalachian mountains. If you hear or see someone or something, no you didn't. Don't whistle after dark. And don't go hiking in the dark.

  In India and Bangladesh, we have Nishi Daak. Literally meaning "call of the night", this entity is invisible, but can assume the voice of anyone. It lures people out by calling their name in their loved one's voice, and boom. What happens next, no one knows

  Where I come from (Serbia) you should never awnser "Yes?" but instead say "Huh?" or "Did you call my name?", it happens too often to me that it only became second nature. Especially with headphones on and frequencies...I am very spiritual and thank god I've never encoutered anything but I may even have a few good stories for you.

  Aloha Megan,<br>Here in Hawaii we&apos;re taught as children to never answer if you&apos;re called, and no one is there. Like a voice in the wind out of nowhere. It&apos;s like an &quot; Uhane&quot; a mischievous spirit that can be dangerous. We&apos;re told not to take or touch things that is in the wooded areas, even the beach. We can kindly ask first, but if you have an unwelcoming feeling, it&apos;s a no! Always respect nature and all supernatural things within it Love all of your channels. This is my favorite. Keep up these awesome videos, you&apos;re such an amazing storyteller.😊🌺🤙

  We&apos;re Chinese and I was told since I was a kid that if you&apos;re walking home at night alone and someone calls your name, no the hell you didn&apos;t. Keep walking, dont even turn because looking means acknowledging you heard it 💀

  I am from North East India, there&apos;s also a very similar tales and warnings from our grandparents, never to answer someone until they call &nbsp;your name for the 3rd time😶. There&apos;s a tale story of a guy who was consumed by the spirits who were wandering in the forest at midnight for answering the call of his name when he was spending the night in his field &nbsp;(for hunting purpose). <br><br>Anyway your stories are always amazing and interesting and i really enjoyed a lot.❤

  Skin walkers and skin walker-type entities are everywhere, and you <i>never</i> answer!<br><br>He knew better, but they know exactly how to get to you.

  My grandma&apos;s farm was sold to her and my grandfather in the early 1940&apos;s because the previous owner had hung himself in a corncrib that was no longer standing at the time my grandparents bought the farm. There are also baby twin infants buried in a field of tulips. One time riding through the woods on a golf cart, I swear I heard a baby cry. Another time, I swear I heard a man talking about corn.<br><br>I was alone.

  While obviously I&apos;ve never heard of the Jangsanbeom, but I have friends who are Indigenous and friends from the Appalachians here in North America who also say, &quot;If you hear someone calling your name in the woods - no you didn&apos;t.&quot;
