  I heard this story before. Rachel is not the one at fault. The entities in the house were copying Rachel. The chant Rachel did in the middle of the living room is the cleansing chant for the house. To make the entities go away. The smoke was from the incense. It was taught to her by her mother when she called her because Rachel also feels the entities and was worried. The question asked by Rachel &quot;You didn&apos;t see anything, did you?&quot; Was actually legit question because Rachel was seeing things too but not as bad as what her boss was seeing.

  Just a little perspective from a Filipina that had actually encounter numerous paranormal things in our country. I don&apos;t know if you guys are familiar with doppelganger but it&apos;s probably the paranormal being lurking around the apartment. This entity can be aggressive sometimes, they just don&apos;t copy the people you know. Rachel is probably doing a cleansing and the smoke is probably the incense. As catholics, we normally use it to cleanse our surroundings whenever we feel that something is not normal around us. The chant is probably prayers she couldn&apos;t understand because of language barriers. The fact that Rachel was outside pounding on the door when she saw the entity in the bathroom is a proof that it&apos;s not her. Rachel is probably scared just like her but couldn&apos;t say anything because she doesn&apos;t want to scare her employer. The Shaman is probably an &apos;Albularyo&apos; and it&apos;s true that some house here needs to be blessed before being occupied. That&apos;s why housewarming here involves bringing a priest with you in your house to bless it.

I think this implies they don&apos;t want her to stay there in that house. Good for her for leaving asap. It could&apos;ve been dangerous. It&apos;s very common for ghosts in ph (as I know) to not want strangers into their home, that&apos;s why often people have their house &apos;blessed&apos; before they moved in.

  I clicked on this video before I entered the bathroom for my nighttime shower. I shower for 30 mins but when the bathtub scene came up I rinsed off immediately and came out of the bathroom real quick.<br><br>Nope, not tonight!

  I feel like Rachel&apos;s mother told Rachel exactly what happened in that house and Rachel just didn&apos;t want to say anything in fear of losing her job <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdPNvo19GO0&amp;t=1416">23:36</a> so rather than scaring the owner of the home she decided to keep it to herself and that&apos;s why it&apos;s slipped the one time about the bathtub because she knew for a fact that she had saw something but didn&apos;t mean to ask

  In my country our elders always cleans the house before moving in. We deep clean the new place and then we invite either a church elder or someone in the family with spiritual gifts to cleans and pray over the house. We also do it when buying our first car, we ask the ancestors for protection and to hide us from jealous eyes. We believe that you must never move into a house or apartment without cleansing it first because the previous tenants might have left something behind especially if the previous tenants where a couple that fought alot, they may have left that energy of conflict behind and it will end up affecting your relationships. And if it&apos;s a newly built apartment and you are the first to live there &nbsp;you then ask for protection while doing the cleansing.

  It&apos;s common for houses to be &quot;blessed&quot; (as in a clergyman does a prayer and sprinkles holy water all over the place) in order to keep spirits away here in the Philippines. I&apos;m not sure if that would have helped in this case, but it&apos;s a good thing to put out there in case any foreigner or expat plan on moving here in the future.<br>Thanks for sharing the story, Megan. It gave me chills.
