I’m not selling my yacht or private plane. Those models sit nicely on my book shelves 😊

We never upsized and therefore 32 years later there is no need to downsize.

I&apos;ve been debt free for decades. &nbsp;I am 60, but I was taught never to buy anything you can&apos;t pay cash for. &nbsp;I just moved to lower my insurance and property taxes.

It’s ALL SPIRITUAL after retirement, truly. I do walks alone in Nature, and I realize, after working 40+ years, life has very little to do with material possessions. What liberation!<br>Thank you Michael!🕊️🌞

I did most of these when I retired at 58, but I am never getting rid of my classic Porsche 911. Ever.

In 2003 I had a house and a great career and then one night, some lunatic rammed my car from behind at 50 mph while I was stopped at a red light. He ended my career instantly, sending me in a bed for two years. I still suffering after 22 years later and I couldn’t work full time after my seat belt destroyed my spinal cord, and the doctor bills were pouring. As a Gen X, I already had a wife and a house but we had made the choice of not buying a big house with a fat payment. It saved me, small mortgage, and I had to start a part time business to be able avoid bankruptcy . Follow Michael’s advice: save as much as you can because I think Gen Z will have an even harder time than Gen X. Put as much money in the bank or funds because there are only two things that count in life: luck and health which are both easy to lose.

1970 Gen-X, and I clearly remember the money mangers when I first entered the workforce in &apos;88... back then they were pounding the drum that social security may not be around, so plan as if you are your only last hope. &nbsp; Some of us listened.
