  Be humble. Be respectful. Learn a language or two or at least simple phrases that will make your day-to-day a bit more frictionless. Enjoy the beautiful sunlight and observe others. Living abroad is a fun adventure and also an opportunity to learn more about your world and the other people in it.

  I&apos;ve always felt welcome in Bali. Barcelona, not so much. I agree that SE Asia is very welcoming, but you have to be respectful of their culture.

  This has been building world wide for years, now digital nomads are the icing on the cake. The first world is unliveable and the herd discovered mass travel. End of story. SE Asia is the last holdout and it&apos;s filling up fast.

  Mexico keeps raising its minimum monthly requirements for a permanent/temporary visa. &nbsp; The higher monthly cost seems like a means to discourage people from living there.

  I occasionally get the feeling that someone I’m dealing with when I’m out of my home country is basically thinking just give us your money and leave.
