  People in Boeing should be arrested for murder. They essentially streamlined profit over safety. Completely left MCAS off the training procedures by assuming pilot behavior which resulted in the terrifying deaths of hundreds of people. Not only that, they tried pushing all the blame on the pilots whom had no idea of the ghost they were fighting before their deaths. How is nobody charged criminally for that? Absolutely despicable.

  This doesn&apos;t match what was taught to me in engineering school. I was told the CEO promised no new training, but the FAA would have required training on MCAS if they noticed it. The FAA checks everything that uses redundant sensors, assuming anything important would do that. <br>So the engineers wanted to use both sensors in the software and were told to shut up and just use one, to hide it from the FAA. <br>The engineers were afraid MCAS caused the first accident and they were told to shut up or be blacklisted in the industry (this is common for engineers since about 2,000). <br>People think engineers are allowed to put their foot down for safety, but since there is so much collaboration between CEOs and no punishment when they get caught, you can lose your career and get sued if you tell anyone what happened. Every company has non disclosure agreements you have to sign, and they&apos;ve learned how effective it is to sue middle class people and shut them up.

  Boeing has had so many potentially and ACTUALLY deadly issues across all of their divisions. <br>Starliner anyone?<br>Not to mention that they actively retaliated against safety whistleblowers.<br>But it&apos;s a legacy company in the US, so they LITERALLY get away with murder.

  Capt Petter , I have been eagerly following almost all air crash investigation programs for over 20 years and can confidently claim that I have never watched more comprehensive (and clear to understand language) video reports as yours. Incredible work Capt👌👏👏👏

  To the question &quot;why these crews weren&apos;t trimming more&quot; my understanding is probably it would go against all training knowing that trimming too much might put you in very High AOA after the problem has been solved, there by stalling yourself. So maybe these micro bursts of trimming style which I have seen in many videos on actual flying pilots is the reason for not fully sitting on the trim switches against MCAS.

  It was a deliberate design decision (business/financial decision by Boeing) to make MCAS reliant on A SINGLE AOA sensor. This was done so MCAS wouldn’t be regarded as a “critical airworthiness system” and be subject to regulatory scrutiny and pilot retraining. Pilot retraining being the cost Boeing were seeking to avoid in the first place with MCAS.

  I have noticed a reoccurring theme of a reluctance to properly report the problems in flight to the tower. To me, this is an indicator that they are pilots who were never cut out to be pilots, and they know it, and are reluctant to put on the record a major incident that would attract all kinds of scrutiny afterwards. Conversely, pilots who are confident in their abilities have nothing to try to hide like that.
